wellness coaching for Employees
What is Wellness Coaching?
Coaching is a professional relationship between the Coach & the Client that is totally focused on furthering the Client's agenda. People can so often get caught up in the "how" of living, in the surviving from day to day, that they can easily forget their dreams, goals and aspirations. Coaching can be a means of helping your employees reconnect to their highest purpose, their most fulfilling way of being in the world.
I created the Whole Life Wellness Model© to help people conceptualize the many different yet interdependent dimensions or aspects of their life. There 12 Dimensions of Wellness, six internal and six external, are the multiple facets of well-being to which Dr. Anderson alluded in the above quotation.

All of these dimensions interact with all of the others in unique ways and any lasting positive behavior change in any one dimension will increase the overall quality of life for your employees. As their Wellness Coach, I can help them identify strategies to get them from where they are now to where they want to be.
Why hire a Coach?
There are as many different reasons for hiring a coach as there are people. My philosophy is that no one needs a coach but a coach can help your employees get more from life. Whether it's more fulfillment, more balance, more passion, more connection, a stronger sense of purpose, a more positive body image, more creativity, more growth, more challenges, more self-awareness, greater ability to face fears, more positive transformations or more choices, a good Wellness Coach can help them get there.
The name of the game is CHANGE! Ultimately, you're the only person responsible for your happiness, so if it's not working, it's has to change, right? As your employees' Wellness Coach, I can help them look at their life in a new way to first decide what needs to change, then help them develop a plan to implement the changes they desire. As the saying goes, “Nothing changes until you do!”

Accountability
One of the unique benefits of the coaching relationship is that the coach will hold your employees accountable for the actions you commit to taking.
Accountability is what turns an intention, that may or may not happen at some point in the future, into a definite goal with an action plan for achieving it.
Accountability is the primary mechanism used to further the client's agenda. It is the impetus behind the agent of change, namely taking action and it is the surest barometer of why things aren't working.
